Welsome all, i hear that the membership drive is all go. So i would like to welcome the newly/ soon to be elected exective/organsational group and all the new members. I hope you all have a wonderful time. The club has a range of gear from kayaks, rafts, climbing gear and surf boards. I hope you all organise more events to take advanage of this gear. I will be taking a back seat this year as i'm on prac most of it but will be giving a hand when i have time. So i look forward to meeting you all.

Sinterlating September
Friday 19th to Sunday 21nd
TIAFF (Tasmanian International Adventure Film Festival) has contacted us asking for support (volunteers) at the festival in Hobart, but defiantly checkout the films if your down south. The festival is in its first year and is hoping to be the largest adventure film festival in the southern hemisphere. If you think you can help them out give us an email and we'll hook you up. Also if you got some film, entries close 30th June 2009 has to be 6 to 60 minutes long. Check out their website.
Monday 1st to Wednesday 3rd
We will be having a 3 day working bee, Monday to setup
Tuesday to do the glue and raft repair and Wednesday to clean up after the rafts are dry. This is necessary for the rafts so they can be used this year and next. THANKS TO ALL THOSE WHO HELPED OUT, but there still more to do, the glue didn't arrive in time, due to complications so we have a raft without a floor :(

Climbing, we will be meeting at the Penny Royal carpark at 9:50 to drive out to Hillwood.
There is a good range of climbs out there, should be a nice day with good weather predicted. So bring a cut Lunch and some petrol.
